The medieval town of Ourém, considered as a cultural heritage building, falls in the middle of a wall, opened by two doors in round arch.
Strolling through the narrow cobblestone streets, we can admire buildings of various architectural styles from: Baroque, Gothic, Mudejar, Manueline and Pombal-style (pombalino).
In this small town you can taste some local products, including the traditional ‘ginjinha of the castles’.
